One thing I learned early on is that good lighting is the key to a great image.
So where there was bad light I tried to find good light and if there was no good light I made it.
My latest experiement was a cardboad box lined with tinfoil, a hole in the top of my wireless flash and bubble wrap to difuse the light ..... and it worked:)
I love finding cheap/easy/quick ways of creating great light on my subjects so that I know wherever I go I can create a great image.
I guess that's why I love black and white imagery ..... it brings everything down to a simple contrast between light and dark and if I was to throw out an analogy or two good vs evil - women vs man - holden vs ford -mac vs pc.
How we balance this duo is critical for the final Image :)
